Is it really free to start?
Yes. The free plan gives you 1 hour of transcription every month, and it never asks for a credit card.
What does Pro cost?
€7.99 per month for 100 hours of transcription, VAT included. Unused hours do not roll over.
What can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV and most other common audio and video formats. Upload the file itself; video is transcribed from its audio track.
Can I transcribe video as well as audio?
Yes. Upload MP4, MOV, WebM and other common video files, and JetScribe transcribes the audio track. Subtitles export as SRT or VTT with their timings intact.
How large can a file be?
Up to 1 GB per upload, which covers several hours of ordinary spoken audio. Larger recordings need splitting before you upload them.
Which languages does JetScribe support?
English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch, plus an auto-detect option for recordings that mix more than one.
Does it tell me who said what?
Yes. Every line comes back labelled by speaker and stamped with the time it was said, so you can jump straight to a moment.
Do I get a summary as well as the transcript?
Yes. Every completed transcript comes with a generated summary, so you can skim what a recording covered before reading the full text.

What happens to my recordings?
Your upload is deleted as soon as the transcript is ready. The transcript is kept until you delete it or close your account, and deleting it removes its segments and metadata from our live systems.
